The article itself is quite short, it would've been difficult to fill out 16 pages worth of text as there was not enough text in the article. I decided to use the references there were and also did my own research on Appan Samachar and found their facebook page. It had a lot of images and information on articles they were posting about, it was useful to include into my newspaper.

I wanted to also find a suitable newspaper typeface that would represent what these independent women were doing in India. After some research I came across the Indian type foundry, there were a variety of typefaces to choose from. I wanted to keep it quite authentic but at the same time give a modern feeling to the newspaper, I also wanted to create something that looked visually strong and would reflect on the women. I found different typefaces, I wanted to find one suitable for both Hindi script and in English. I decided on choosing Kohinoor Devangari as the typeface for the newspaper, this is the only one I used throughout as I wanted to keep it consistent. I did use different thicknesses and boldnesses in my work.
